The executive session began at 8:04 pm.
Deed Restriction Violations to Legal
There was a discussion of the 13 addresses Grothues emailed to the board on July 9th. Grothues recommended that these homeowners be sent certified letters for outstanding deed restriction violations.
Du Bois moved to approve sending certified demand letters to the 13 addresses in Grothues’ July 9th email to the board. DeRousse seconded the motion. The board then moved to discussion.
Curry questioned two of the recommendations at 74XX Maple Tree and 74XX Maple Tree and wanted to table these items until the next meeting.
Curry moved to amend the original motion to table 74XX Maple Tree until there is an opportunity to talk to the owner and 74XX Maple Tree pending their application to the city for a permit to expand their driveway. DeRousse seconded the motion. Curry, DeRousse, Du Bois and Hodge voted in favor. The amendment carried.
The amended motion to send certified demand letters to 11 of the 13 addresses in Grothues’ July 9th email to the board, excluding 74XX and 74XX Maple Tree, came to a vote. Curry, DeRousse, Du Bois and Hodge voted in favor. The amended motion carried.
Collections
Du Bois moved to proceed with sending certified demand collection letters to the 9 emails in Martin’s July 7th email. DeRousse seconded the motion.
There was a discussion about the 9 addresses with past due amounts in excess of $900 that were included in Martin’s July 7th email to the board. The board moved to a vote.
Du Bois, De Rousse and Hodge voted in favor, Curry was opposed. The motion carried.
55xx Arncliffe- Update
Grothues reported that no work had been done on this lot since the last monthly meeting and nothing has appeared on the weekly permit list the city sends out via email during that same time period.
76xx Antoine- Update
The Board discussed the residency issues related to this home. Grothues reported that there has been correspondence with the homeowner. A letter has been sent requesting that the homeowner and their legal counsel, if any, meet with IFCIA and our legal counsel to discuss this issue.
56xx Cone Crest
Grothues informed the Board that the owners had now painted the brick on both sides of the house, in addition to the front. HS is working to consolidate all of the outstanding deed violation issues concerning this property.

With no further business to come before the Board in Executive Session, the meeting was formally adjourned to General Session at 8:37 pm.
