 Deed Restriction Violations to Legal

The Board reviewed the June deed restrictions report and discussed sending certified deeds violation letters to the 12 addresses listed in Martin’s email to the board dated June 10, 2012.

   Collections

The Board reviewed Martin’s recommendation to send certified demand letters to 9 homeowners with outstanding account balances of $1,474 to $ 1,617.

75XX Brushwood

Grothues stated she bought a gallon of the paint approved by ACC for this house and painted a 4’ x 4’ piece of plywood board to check if the paint color looks like the color on the house.  It is close.  Pictures were emailed to the board.  Grothues recommended that the board send a letter offering to reimburse the homeowners for the cost of new ACC approved paint and a reasonable amount for their labor to repaint the house since they indicated that they were going to paint it themselves last time.

Elgohary Lawsuits

The Board discussed the last responses drafted by Hays McConn to the questions regarding board member’s term limits.  These were all to be submitted to the court shortly.  Grothues stated she was not sure of the hearing date at this time.

Sam Lawsuit

The Board discussed that the settlement payments were made by both IFCIA and Genesis and that the bankruptcy judge has signed off on the order.

Section 20

The Board discussed the outstanding issue regarding the Section 20 deed restrictions and the meeting that was held for those homeowners on June 4th. Five homeowners attended the meeting and a letter was sent to the homeowners that were unable to attend. Grothues mentioned she would be making follow up calls to those homeowners who attended the meeting and wanted to look over the documents first.

Adjournment

With no further business to come before the Board in Executive Session, the meeting was formally adjourned to General Session at 8:26 pm.
